When Elva Hsiao began her career in 1999, she was 20 years old and had a fresh sound positioned between pop at the turn of the millennium and her own soulful style. In the years since, Hsiao has embodied the sound of a maturing young woman via her multiple album releases as well as a number of acting roles.
