New York beatmaker Bigram “DVLP” Zayas made his mark producing hard-hitting mid-2000s rap songs by Lil Wayne, Juelz Santana, and JR Writer, ultimately producing the flurry-ous Eminem hit “Rap God.” In the early 2010s, he pivoted to gleaming, dance-fueled Latin pop hits for Paulina Rubio and Pitbull. As Latin music crossed over in the national spotlight, DVLP helped lead the charge, producing hip-hop-centric tunes for J Balvin, Fuego, and others.
