Creed Essentials

Creed Essentials

In the early '90s, high school friends Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti decided to form a band based on their mutual love of music and Christian theology. Originally known as Naked Toddler, they eventually settled on the name Creed. After earning local success with their independent debut, My Own Prison, Creed signed to Wind-Up Records. The band's follow-up, Human Clay, was their biggest-selling album, topping the charts for two weeks in a row and propelling them to superstardom.
