Boys Noize Essentials

Boys Noize was born Alexander Ridha, in Hamburg, Germany, where he discovered rave music before moving to Berlin. In 2005, he launched Boysnoize Records, a platform for his shuddering techno and electro, as well as more diverse sounds like Chilly Gonzales's electro-pop, Housemeister's Chicago cut-ups, and hip-hop from UZ and Snoop Dogg. He has remixed Feist and Daft Punk, among others, and his high-octane DJ sets established him as a major player on the festival circuit. No stranger to collaborations, he's worked alongside Erol Alkan and Mr. Oizo, and in 2012, he joined forces with Skrillex as Dog Blood.
