Kruppov has migrated from online rap battle sensation to one of the most revered guest MCs in Russia, and cloud rap is his most aligned style. He’s as capable working with high-end production, as on the more plaintive and reggaeton-flavoured jams, as he is with muddier, more quintessential cloud weariness, while “С4” is an efficiently stirring and emphatically loud marriage of EDM and hip-hop.
