The elements of Bollywood music director Amit Trivedi's brash style have evolved. Yet his scores—like his 2009 breakout Dev D and the later Udaan—have some constant styles, including soft rock like Sting's "Fields of Gold," the powerful thrust of John Williams' "Scherzo for Motorcycle and Orchestra," and the futuristic-folk versatility of A. R. Rahman's "Chhoti Si Aasha," from Rahman's own debut film, Roja.
