Alkaline Trio: Deep Cuts

Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba and Dan Andriano made their name on anthemic punk that rides minor keys and yearning vocals to cathartic, take-on-the-world choruses ("Maybe I'll Catch Fire," "You've Got So Far to Go"). But they've explored other interests: Andriano has crafted low-fi indie pop ("Pretty Teeth") while Skiba has made both minimalist ballads ("You Didn't Feel a Thing") and Sisters of Mercy-indebted synth-pop ("Counting").
