3 Doors Down Essentials

While they may have never achieved massive critical success, Mississippi alt-rockers 3 Doors Down have a fervent fanbase, having sold over 13 million albums in the U.S. alone. Starting in the late-'90s as a trio consisting of frontman Brad Arnold, bass player Todd Harrell, and guitarist Matt Roberts, they expanded to five before recording their 2000 debut album, The Better Life. The album was an enormous success, and their 2002 follow-up, Away from the Sun, proved that they could pen a ballad or two, too. A few lineup changes and several years later, they're still going strong.
