Since 2011, South Korea's Neon Bunny has gained a loyal following both in and outside of her home country with her heartfelt synth-pop. Her songs combine optimistic indie rock and slick electronics, with simple choruses whose hooky appeal belies the pensive depth of her lyrics. She's moved increasingly in a more ambient, atmospheric direction, wrapping her clear, light voice and clean melodies in layers of synth and reverb as glittery and distant as the lights of a city skyline at night.
