In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I was 3 driving down to the US with my parents listening to John Denver, knowing none of the words. So little me started ad-libbing to the song, singing along to country roads without a care in the world. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Aretha Franklin, I Never Loved a Man the Way I Love You Elvis Presley, From Elvis In Memphis The Chicks, Fly I chose these 3 albums because they encapsulate my 3 main genres. The Chicks show my Country's edge with the splash of intense feminism, while Elvis and Aretha describe my rock and roll, R&B blues, and the power and emotion my voice can hold. Tell us why you chose this song. “Break It To Me Gently” I love this song because it shows the evolution of grief and the road to acceptance. How you are strong enough to get through that heartache in any form of relationship and make it to the other side more confident and stronger than ever. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My most memorable moment was performing at Aurora Ribfest 2023, with my dream band comprised of Canadian rock legends. We put on a 2-hour set, performing right before April Wine. It was a life-changing experience to be able to play with such talent. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to open for Bands such as the Chicks and ToTo. and continue recording and performing around the globe with legendary people.
