About X Carbon

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. As an 8 year old kid, my father took my brother and I go to see Kiss at the Shoreline Amphitheater. I painted my nails black and did my hair in a mohawk. I feel in love with the spectacle - the obsession with art form cemented itself into my psyche. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Itzhak Perlman, London Philharmonic Orchestra, Vivaldi: The Four Seasons Sufjan Stevens, Carrie & Lowell The 1975, The 1975 I believe these represent a variety in my taste of music. C&L for its raw emotion, The 1975 for its breadth and ambition, and Vivaldi for its drama and virtuosity. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Last Good Day” This song is written about the death of my grandmother Annette. The lyrics capture how I felt holding her hand while she laid in her hospital bed during her final days. Overwhelming grief mixed with hope, understanding, and tremendous love. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I was lucky enough to work on music for the Star Wars Ep. 8 and 9 marketing campaigns. Hearing music I wrote combined with the images of that franchise is something I'll cherish forever.
