In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was three my older cousins would have their friends over for dance parties in their basement. I would sit at the top of the stairs and watch them all dancing, and I loved to listen to the music, the Stones, the Beach Boys and Motown. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bruce Springsteen, Darkness on the Edge of Town Miles Davis, Kind of Blue The Clash, London Calling Each of these albums are meaningful, have influenced many other artists, and have clearly stood the test of time. Most importantly though, they sound great. The music is wonderful, inviting all into a specific place and time. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Goodnight Montana” One of Wookie Garcia's greatest influences was the Beat Farmers. Kyle wrote this song about those San Diego legends. Dedicated to Buddy Blue and Country Dick Montana. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Late in 2022 the band asked our friend Rami Jaffee if he would produce our next album. He agreed and suggested that we record at his band's studio. For four days we were treated like rock stars and we think we made a record that sounds like it. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? As long as there may be people out there that might like our band if they heard us, there will always be something on our bucket list. Our goal is to connect with as many folks as we can one listener at a time.
