About Williams and Ree
Known to fans as "The Indian and the White Guy," the duo of Bruce Williams and Terry Ree rose to stardom on the country comedy circuit on the strength of their defiantly anti-P.C. humor. Williams ("The White Guy") and Ree ("The Indian") first teamed while attending college in South Dakota during the late '60s; initially they formed a band, and after years of struggle landed in Nashville. There they became recognizable to viewers of the Nashville Network, regularly appearing on programs including Nashville Now and Country Kitchen; in the years to follow, Williams & Ree also toured relentlessly, specializing in often profane humor with a decidedly racial and sociopolitical bent, tempered by their skills as musicians. ~ Mark Donkers
