We Are Shining is a London-based electronic music project composed of Acayde and Morgan Zarate. The pair developed their sound of vocal-led beats from early on, and decided not to conform to any genre restraints. The group's debut release, Kara, arrived in 2014 on the Marathon Artists label, fusing old soul music with modern electronic. It also included guest spots from Shingai Shoniwa, Mallie, and ESKA. The track "Breaks" was co-written with British vocalist FKA Twigs. ~ James Pearce
