In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sometime in the 90s, somewhere in Virginia, at a Sam Goody at the mall, my dad showed me the band KISS and bought a copy of "Destroyer". We listened all the way home in his turquoise Chevy, smell of chewing tobacco. Opened up a whole world for me. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? American Football, American Football Nick Drake, Pink Moon Sun Kil Moon, Ghosts of the Great Highway All three of these albums are huge influences in my approach to songwriting and the Wanderings Years sound which is somewhere at the intersection of folk, indie-folk and emo. Tell us why you chose this song. “Segovia at Home” Segovia at Home is at once melodic and dissonant, brooding and confessional. The song, a reflection on balance, features a flamenco-style strumming of a nylon string guitar paired with the volleying distorted swells of an electric guitar.
