In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Sitting at the piano as a small child plunking out the theme to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles before I started piano lessons. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Switchfoot, Native Tongue The Script, No Sound Without Silence Various Artists, EFY 2017 the Way to Become (Especially for Youth) The messages of many of the songs on these albums go perfectly hand in hand with the life lessons my Savior has taught me and the person He has helped me (and is helping me) become. I owe all my music gifts to Him. They have all come because of Him. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Be Not Afraid” The message of Be Not Afraid reflects my feelings about doing my best to give my Savior my unyielding loyalty no matter what my circumstances are. Even in moments when I sincerely questioned if it was worth it, in retrospect, I know it was. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The moments where an idea comes to my mind for a song that I know is too perfect to only come from me, where I know it was put in my mind by God, are the moments that are impossible to forget. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I really want to do a co-write with Jon Schmidt or Lang Lang.
