In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Running to the basement and diving into dad's extensive vinyl collection. One one hand, it was akin to shopping at a record store where every item is free. On a deeper level, it was a spiritual experience as well. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Jimi Hendrix, Band of Gypsys Portishead, Dummy The xx, xx Dummy - A life-altering album that combined hip-hop and rock in a truly new way. Band of Gypsys - Buddy Miles lets Jimi stretch his legs and explore blues, soul, and funk. The xx - A no-skip, moody rumination on the evolution of electronic music. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Performing in Paris for a crowd that not only included De La Soul, but also Guy-Manuel from Daft Punk. Unreal. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Hanging the first-ever vinyl release by Visors on our wall will be a moment we've been working towards for the past two years.
