In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember sitting in my room when I five, listening to Ladysmith Black Mambazo: Gift of the Tortoise on cassette. I was enamored with the sounds they created just with their voices. It was a different kind of kids music and I loved it!
