In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My musical memory starts with A R Rahman's album 'Dil se' which was massive shift in Indian music sound. The grooves, the melodies and grand arrangements have always left me in its awe and have inspired me to pursue music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? A. R. Rahman, Rockstar (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Nitin Sawhney, Beyond Skin Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered Beyond skin - For its blend of ethnicity and global sound and exceptional production. Rockstar - Massive rock sound, Indian touch and arrangements. The Dark side of the moon - For its immense experimentation & shaping the sound of music thereafter. Saee Tembhekar)” I wrote this song to create a new sound by blending concepts from Indian classical music and Blues harmony with heavy percussion. The drumsnbass song is the tension happening inside of the mind & the half time melody represents the "Unposted" letter. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The point where I started learning piano gave me a massive shift in my sound. Thereafter followed the most memorable moment i.e. forming and performing my originals with my own band "Varun Nimbolkar Collective". Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? A lot of things as a matter of fact. The most important being touring and playing originals across various cities, festivals along with continuing to compose and produce own music.
