James Taylor, Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 (Remastered) Jimmy Buffett, Changes In Latitudes, Changes In Attitudes Ultmate Master Disk Gold CD Reissue John Prine, John Prine These artists greatly influenced me as a teenager. Buffett was my lifestyle, Taylor's guitar playing and finger style was my effort to reproduce, and Prine could write lyrics like no other songwriter. This topic is hard enough to deal with privately, much less in the public's eye. The song is about learning to embrace what is difficult to understand and remembering the love of a child no matter gender. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Writing a song for one of my two children is such incredible pressure and the greatest gift. We strive to touch other people with our music, but it gets real personal at that level. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? My bucket list is ever-changing and always growing. When you collaborate with other passionate people, be they musicians, writers, or vocalists, it's like Christmas comes every day!
