David Ford, I Sincerely Apologise for All the Trouble I've Caused Leonard Cohen, Thanks for the Dance Sufjan Stevens, Carrie & Lowell I enjoy that till the very end Cohen continued writing and finding himself in his lyrics. Sufjan went out and told a specific story about his parents that only he could- simplicity and courage. David Ford- fights the misery well. Tell us why you chose this song. “What's That Mean To You?” Among the sand and beat-up lifeguard cottage on Lake Huron in Grand Bend, Ontario Canada I learned more about my future wife and my friendships among pain and play more then anywhere I can recount. "sand in the house, sand in the grass in all we had" What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Writing "the Great Ugly" and seeing myself in it. The song "see him alive" or "see Him alive" made me trust myself more, computer broken and all I had was a 4-track recorder to record and write the song- no flash and dance. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? To learn to smile at myself more in the black mirror.
