My parents didn't listen to much music when I was growing up in Jersey, but my mom would play the AM Top 40 station while driving. You'd hear funk, rock, disco, country: no musical boundaries. Tell us why you chose this song. “County” I had a beat I messed with but was searching for a groove. After waking up from my beloved afternoon nap, I hummed a horn line into a voice memo. Found a horn texture I liked and all of the sudden I had a horn section...and perfect driving music.
