In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Uncle Hertz, a Montreal native, began his music career in 1992 by singing gospel music with the People's Gospel Choir of Montreal. (Closing The Montreal international Jazz festival 1993). What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Manu Chao, Radio Bemba Sound System (Live) Portishead, Dummy Radiohead, OK Computer I chose these three albums because of their unique sound and composition. I love the energy and passion they convey. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Wouldn't It Be Nice” This cut has a special place in my heart. It is my first distributed cover song. This magnificent song from the Beach Boys' Pet Sounds album is a timeless masterpiece. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? The most memorable moment is when I collaborated with DJ Pocket. We form a writing duo for four years before he passed away in 2018. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I have so many songs i'd like to complete. More collaborations are on the way.
