Tyler Rich

A native of rural northern California, country singer-songwriter Tyler Rich is known for his romantic lyrics and his musical mix of pop, R&B, and modern rock. ∙ Fellow country singer-songwriter Dustin Lynch invited Rich to open for him on a four-month tour in 2016 after seeing him perform on social media. ∙ He secured a publishing deal with Big Machine and was signed to Valory Records in December 2017, a year and a half after he relocated from Los Angeles to Nashville. ∙ In late 2017, Rich joined the ranks of Kacey Musgraves, Maren Morris, and Luke Combs when he was named one CMT’s “18 for 2018” Listen Up new artists. ∙ His single “The Difference” broke into the Top 30 of the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in 2018 and was certified Gold. ∙ The countryfied acoustic cover of Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean” on his debut LP, Two Thousand Miles, is a fan favorite that Rich perfected playing casino lounges as an unsigned artist.
