In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I got my first guitar when I turned 11 years old. It was a 2003 gold sparkle top Fender Showmaster. That changed my life. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Cross Canadian Ragweed, Live at Billy Bob's Texas: Cross Canadian Ragweed Metallica, Metallica These three albums have so much to do with my writing process for albums, my thoughts on mixing, and what an album should say. Tell us why you chose this song. “River Running Red” This song reflects on the true story of a sheriff's department in southern Oklahoma that is involved in the coverup of a murder back about 10 years ago. It also talks about the department's involvement in selling drugs in the county. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? We opened up for Flatland Cavalry at a sold out show in Stillwater, OK and that got me hooked. I knew right then that I had to figure out how to do this for the rest of my life. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Headlining Calf Fry in Stillwater, Oklahoma is definitely on my bucket list.
