In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember when I first heard Technologic by Daft Punk when I was around six years old. I had never heard anything else like it before, and that was the moment I fell in love with electronic music. After that I was very into Skrillex, obsessive even. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Burial, Untrue Daft Punk, Discovery Sweet Trip, You Will Never Know Why 15 years and still fresh, Burial's rich and textural production is truly unrivaled. You Will Never Know Why has had a HUGE influence on the Trash Bangs sound. Drum machines and guitars is always an S-tier combo. Dance music euphoria, RIP Daft Punk. The chemistry in the room while we started jamming on this little musical motif I had was the first sign to me that this project was going to be something. I think we captured the 80s pop vibe with our own spin on it. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Releasing the first EP! "Teen Romance" was such a great learning experience as a producer, even if it isn't quite the sound we stuck with going forward. EP 2 sounds more like Adult Depression, but we needed to make the first EP to find our own sound. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Would love to get a live show together at some point! Now that we have enough music to play a full thirty-minute set (wink wink) I think it only makes sense to get these tunes out in front of a crowd. Just gotta get the sounds from Logic Pro to IRL.
