In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. When I was 8-years-old I decided I wanted to learn the piano. When I was 12 I joined musical theater. At age 18 I was leading worship every Sunday. I've evolved into someone completely new, but I cherish who I was. It's made me who I've become. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Charli xcx, CRASH Fiona Apple, When The Pawn... boygenius, the record Fiona Apple is a groundbreaker, and unabashedly herself. I can only hope to maintain the same amount of honesty, and radical exploration as boygenius, and who else makes you get up and dance like Charli XCX? What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Choosing to publicly identify as queer informed so much of my artistry and songwriting. I finally decided to be bold, and be myself, completely. It's a beautiful feeling. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to release a full length record. Single are the constant, but to work on a body of art and release it all - that's a dream.
