About Tony Hood

Influenced by Caribbean culture, along with R&B acts like R. Kelly and Earth, Wind & Fire, Tony Hood is a producer and singer who was born in Guyana. A move to Brooklyn came next, then he landed in Orlando, Florida, where he first set out as a producer. Singing over his own tracks was originally just for economics, but then audiences became just as interested in the vocals, inspiring Tony to become an all-around solo artist. In 2014 he made his official debut with the single "Freaky Freaky (Tonight)" along with the mixtape It's Tony Hood. The mixtape also included the single "Thinking About Mine" featuring K Camp. ~ David Jeffries
