About Tonikaku Jay

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to my brother's CDs in the back of his Rav 4, the first album that made me think that making music would be cool was Lupe Fiasco's 'The Cool'. Once I heard "Go go Gadget Flow" I was hooked on music ever since. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Lil Uzi Vert, Eternal Atake Lupe Fiasco, Lupe Fiasco's the Cool Robb Bank$, FALCON OF THE MILLENNIUM - FALCONIA (DELUXE) Lil Uzi Vert's Eternal Atake is an attack of Swag from start to finish, keeping me hooked throughout the entirety. The same will be the case for Falcon of the Millenium, plus references that hit close to my personal taste. The Cool is a classic! Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Daimyo” The chorus on this song is one of my top three chorus' I've ever made, and it's not three. Daimyo also has an awesome flow and reminds me of the level of proficiency with which I need to take my craft everytime I step into the artist aura. Swag. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? When my friends started to come out in support of my music for music videos. I used to have to shoot music videos by myself all the time, but the first time my homie came through to participate the energy then duly tripled on a personal level. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I will make a song featuring Lil Uzi Vert on a 2x Platinum album focused on bridging the culture of Eastern and Western Society. I will perform for a sold out show in Staples Center in the year 2024, if not before, God willing.
