About Toilet Boys
New York City's Toilet Boys originally formed in the late '90s as a backing band for performer Miss Guy. The crowd's response to the one-time show was so favorable that Guy and friends -- guitarists Sean and Rocket, bassist Adam Vomit, and drummer Electric Eddie -- kept the lineup together and started recording songs together as the Toilet Boys. Their sound, a mix of '80s Sunset Strip pop-metal and '70s New York punk, was often punctuated by the band's live shows, where Guy wore skimpy, Frederick's of Hollywood-style costumes and Sean's laser gun/flaming red pitchfork guitar shot sparks. The Toilet Boys released a number of picture discs and regular 7"s before their first full-length, Living Like a Millionaire, was released in 1998 on R.A.F.R. Coldfront Records released the band's follow-up EP, Saints and Sinners, in 2001. ~ Jennifer Maerz
