About Tizzy Stackz

Raised on Lil Durk, 50 Cent, Michael Jackson, and some soca music his parents played, Tizzy Stacks alchemizes pained melodies, casual gunplay, and “get money” aphorisms into infectious slaps. In the process, he’s secured millions of listens and a growing legion of fans. Raised primarily in Brampton, Ontario, the Canadian MC took his rap moniker from his childhood nickname, Tizzy. By grade 8, he’d used a PlayStation headset and GarageBand to record his first song. The big streams didn’t come until he uploaded a melodic track called “Ballin” to SoundCloud in 2017, when he was still only 16. In 2020, he released his debut Green Light. Laced with trap drums, spurts of lush guitar, and simple hooks that insist on being repeated, Green Light doubles down on the melodic stylings he displayed at the outset of his career, which has yet to see a stop sign.
