In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Damian Frood and Craig Tigwell first met through their shared passion for Melbourne band Underground Lovers, and Kate Bush. They began to collaborate musically during the 2020 lockdown producing the single WAY and subsequent album 'Wake The Babies'. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Pink Floyd, Animals The Cure, Disintegration 2010 Remaster The Flaming Lips, Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots We think these three albums have a coherent progression across the whole album - they're a trip from beginning to end, which is what we've tried to do with 'Wake The Babies'. Tell us why you chose this song. “Rewind” We love Rewind - it's shows how we can take a simple groove and add slices of pop and rock into the song and make it a satisfying tune - it's a great song to play live and has an entire choir of harmonies buried in there from us and JC from Factory. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Hearing our songs on the radio for the first time. Charting at number 6 on the Australian Independent Charts with our album 'Wake the Babies'. Touring interstate. Headlining the Brunswick Ballroom in Melbourne. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We will be touring more and releasing our 2nd album in 2023. This album will showcase even greater diversity of styles and melodies.
