About Tim Gallagher

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My dad bought me a karaoke machine. I began to sing just about every single rock n roll song from the 50s/60s. The rest is history. Especially the rock n roll stuff as that phase didn’t last too long and I soon discovered pop music. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Ignore Me (Stripped)” It’s always been my favourite to play live. I wrote it a while back and the acute pleasure which you get from a new song generally doesn’t last, but this one did. I always try to insert a piece of my life into my music, this one is very literal. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? My sold-out show at Deaf Institute in Manchester. I was flirting with the idea of giving up music but announced a show & it sold out in 24hrs. The crowd knew every song. I felt validated as an artist. I honestly don’t think anything will ever top it. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I can’t pinpoint one particular thing on a bucket list. I just want to have a career as an artist, be touring, traveling, and collaborating for as long as I can and see where that takes me.
