Theo Walentiny is a Brooklyn-based composer and pianist whose free-spirited improvisations, both as a solo artist and as part of several groups, are informed by modern jazz, contemporary classical, and film music. His collaborative projects include the dreamlike Aurelia Trio as well as a septet that performs his own compositions, influenced by impressionism and romanticism. He has also composed music for film scores and sync libraries, as well as electronic music. He made his solo debut in 2021 with Looking Glass, a set of piano improvisations created in a subconscious flow state.
