In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. We were playing an eclectic set to a full house at the Ste. Anne's Blues Café (Qc)-originals, "Clarence", traditional Celtic tunes. Tim Kingsbury of Arcade Fire opened with a surprise acoustic set and joined us later for the encore. AWESOME NIGHT. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Great Big Sea, Great Big Sea The Chieftains, Fire In the Kitchen The Tragically Hip, The Tragically Hip - EP International Version Eclectic mix of modern versions of traditional tunes and wickedly original tunes are covered by this selection. Tell us why you chose this song. “Clarence” This is a tribute to Clarence Labrador (c1910-1998), a Mi’kmaq boy that survived the 1917 Halifax Explosion, and to his friend Chucky Bernard, an activist from We'koqma'q who helped him along his journey.
