About The Sleepy Haunts

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I just watched "Sonny with a Chance" where Demi Lovato hid her song lyrics in a pillowcase. I was only in elementary school, so I thought that's what I should do. I ended up writing my first song that day and hiding it in my pillowcase. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Alanis Morissette, Jagged Little Pill Olivia Rodrigo, SOUR Taylor Swift, folklore Alanis Morisette's lyrics made me scream "someone understands!" With Olivia Rodrigo it was inspiring to see a girl my age making it with songs she wrote at home. I'm a Swiftie and her album was all I could listen to during quarantine. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Want To Be Maeve Wiley” Maeve Wiley almost didn’t make it on the album. I wasn’t sure if it was any good. I made a few tweaks to the lyrics the day of recording and that was it. I didn’t expect the response to be so positive, now it’s one of my favorite songs to perform. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Getting the call that I made it into Seattle's Sound Off 2022. I felt my heart beating and my cheeks flush from excitement. I couldn't wait to get home and tell my family the news. It was the most exhilarating thing I had ever experienced so far. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? There are a lot of things I want to do as a band, but one thing that comes to mind is selling out a show. I'd love to have a show we headline where people show up to see us. I think I can die happy when that happens.
