In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. First concert was Rush signals tour at Joe Lewis Arena in Detroit MI. Second concert was Yes 90125 at the same venue. These two shows set the standard for what to expect from a live show and continued to see these two bands dozens of times. Tell us why you chose this song. “Reflection” I wrote this song on acoustic guitar and recorded a video that had me playing guitar, then piano and then percussion (a circle 7 wood conga). My co-writer Daryl then added lyrics to it and it wraps up our EP A Royale Trip. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording a single per month in 2020 in the middle of a pandemic was a great achievement for this project. Songs were recorded in the big live room in my home studio and they each have their own special thing about them.
