About The Secret History
A stylish yet emotional mix of glam rock, new wave, girl groups, and indie pop, New York's the Secret History formed in 2007 out of the ashes of My Favorite. My Favorite singer/songwriter Michael Grace Jr., guitarist Darren Amadio, bassist Gil Abad, keyboardist Kurt Brondo, and drummer Tod Karsik joined forces with Lisa Ronson, daughter of guitarist Mick Ronson. Another vocalist, Erin Dermody, completed the Secret History's lineup. The group began playing live late in 2007. Their debut release, the Desolation Town EP, arrived in fall 2008 on Le Grand Magistery; their first full-length album, The World That Never Was, was released in March of 2010. ~ Heather Phares
