The Rogue Electrics

About The Rogue Electrics

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first concert I really remember going to was Dennis DeYoung of Styx with my dad. My dad used to play a Styx cassette in our car when he was driving my siblings and I around. Seeing those songs performed in concert by a band blew my mind. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Foo Fighters, Wasting Light Led Zeppelin, Led Zeppelin II (Remastered) Tom Petty, Wildflowers & All the Rest (Super Deluxe Edition) Led Zeppelin made me want to play guitar. Foo Fighters made me want to start a band. Tom Petty inspired me to write my own songs. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Let It Out” Let it Out was the first song I ever wrote that made me think "I can do this ; I can write songs". To be able to record it and put it out professionally 10+ years later is really special to me. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? To keep an independent band together for 5+ years playing in a music scene that is not always open minded about booking bands that play original music. To still be making music and playing shows is a gift even with amongst headwinds we face. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I would love to open for one of my favorite bands. Dave Grohl and Foos if you are listening, next time you come to Milwaukee hit us up. We will put on a rocking show with you guys.
