In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. The first time I sat behind a drum set in my middle school and started to play.. and I figured out how to get my appendages to work together, but separately to create a beat. It blew my mind. I knew then what I wanted to do. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Nine Inch Nails, Pretty Hate Machine Prof, Powderhorn Suites Timbaland, Timbaland Presents Shock Value Nine Inch Nails is one of my all-time favorite artists. All of their albums are huge influences on me. Timbaland as a producer is one of the very best of all time. Prof is an amazing rapper and inspired me to take my shot as a solo rap artist. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Pretty Ugly” I wrote this song for my wife. Originally I was planning on using a completely different beat and song to write for her, but when I sat down with this song the lyrics just came naturally. It just worked and it's a perfect description of how I see us. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? While in metal bands as a lead vocalist, I've had the pleasure and privilege of opening for bands like Sevendust, Nonpoint, Darwin's Waiting Room, Primer 55, Reveille and MachineHead. I hope to create memories like this as a solo rap artist. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? So many.. but the biggest dream is to just have one song I've written go "viral", to write something great that helps me to connect to other people through music in overwhelming numbers. Anything else would be icing on the cake.
