In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My earliest musical memory is being born in a taxi speeding across the Arizona desert. The radio was on. Next, a zine reviewed a record by my band The Smokejumpers: "This is better'n s----in' on the clock." Been chasing another good review since. Tell us why you chose this song. “Dead Mall” My song "Dead Mall" is a humorous look at nostalgia and memory, and it accidentally gets a little poignant and meaningful in the last verse. I apologize for that. I didn't mean to do it and will try my best to avoid that mistake in the future.
