The Hagees are essentially the familial music outreach group of the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, a nondenominational church founded by John Hagee, a fifth-generation pastor. Hagee grew up singing gospel and praise & worship material as part of his parents' traveling group, and three of his five children, Christina, Matthew, and Sandy Hagee, kept the musical heritage going when they began singing in a similar capacity with their father as the Hagees. Things grew from there, with Hagee's ministry expanding into some 30 books he authored, as well as broadcasts on television and radio stations across America. He also sang when he could with his children, who had developed a tight harmony style seemingly only available to siblings. The Hagees have released several albums of Christian music under that name, including a pair from Difference Media, 2013's holiday set Christmas and 2014's Love. ~ Steve Leggett
