About The Green L.E.D.s

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. In first grade the woman who ran the grade school string program came to class to show us the violin (screechy!) and the viola (better!) But when she played the cello I knew I had to play it. I played through high school and it led me to bass guitar What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Foo Fighters, The Colour and the Shape Pink Floyd, The Dark Side of the Moon Remastered The Monkees, Pisces, Aquarius, Capricorn & Jones Ltd. Dark Side is an amazing sounding album, lush with lots of layers; Colour and the Shape blew me away when it came out and absolutely rocks; and Pisces, Aquarius… has Pleasant Valley Sunday, Daily Nightly, Door Into Summer, Love is Only Sleeping… Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “I Can Feel It (Can You?)” It’s the first song I wrote as The Green L.E.D.s so it holds a favorite place in my heart. I wrote it for my friend Dan’s compilation project where everyone assumed the identity of a ‘lost’ 80s band and it led me to release more non-comedy music What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I had the immense pleasure to open for George Carlin on his final tour and the back-to-back shows at Foxwoods Casino and the next night at The Wang Theater in Boston are memorable for so many reasons, including Carlin burning me a CD of a jazz song Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I love the idea of one The Green L.E.D.s songs getting a classic needle drop in a really good movie or TV series, the kind of moment that makes people look up “what was that cool song they just played?!”
