About The Bizkit

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Right from scratch, I used to write raps for classmates in school, beat on tables and mime to songs by Bob Marley, Shinehead and C.J Lewis. Even in elementary, music was therapeutic for me as a kid. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Marley & The Wailers, Survival (2013 Remaster) Bonus Track Version P-Square, Best of P-Square Shaggy, Hot Shot I adore these three albums because they cut across from reggae, r&b, pop and hip hop, and shaped my sound. These three albums revolutionized my songwriting writing process from a kid, to a teenager and to an adult. My music is shaped by these three. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Why You Wanna Go” This song why you wanna go was special to me because at that point, I was infusing afrobeats with pop and dancehall. It presented an evolution in my songwriting process and more so, maybe because I wrote the song from a personal experience. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of my most memorable moments in my career so far was when I performed in an orphanage in Ghana and the kids were filled with joy and were singing along. Being a humanitarian, that particular moment sparked some butterflies in my tummy. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? I want to get to the point where I can use my music to positively impact people globally. I wish to share my personal experiences and be a voice through my music to effect change in people who may have had similar experiences and can relate.
