In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I have sooo many it's a joke. Probably the one where we were driving in my Dad's car to somewhere on a long drive and Loose Ends' 'Hanging On A String' was playing. Probably the first time I heard it and till the day the memory stays potent. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ari Lennox, Shea Butter Baby Beres Hammond, Can't Stop a Man Teedra Moses, Complex Simplicity These will most definetly interchange every time I get asked because there is too many favourites. These are sonically play all the way through albums. The core feeling of the album is consistent so I always come back. Nostalgia and vibes. Tell us why you chose this song. “8 'Til Late” If you put 702's 'Steelo', H'Town's 'They Like It Slow' and 52nd Streets' 'Tell Me' together in a bowl and sprinkle me in, this is what you'd get. This song is special to me. The making of the tune was full of passion. That's all i'll say. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? I don't feel like i've had a 'moment' in terms of accolades yet. For me the most memorable/celebratory moments are the ones of me pushing and hustling to get things done behind the scenes, despite my barriers. Playing Lovebox Fest was amazing though! Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Playing an intimate show with a full band at Jazz Cafe or something similar. Nothing beats live music for me. And landing a songwriting placement for a charting song.
