Seeing The Judy Garland Show at my grandma's and being completely captivated by her voice, her storytelling, and the glamour of it all. I didn’t understand phrasing or interpretation yet, but I understood how she made me feel. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Tell us why you chose this song. “And I Love Him” “And I Love Him” is special because I made the song completely my own, but it also became deeply personal. I waited a long time to find my husband, and now when I sing it, I know exactly who I’m singing about. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Recording at Capitol Records with a full big band, in the same legendary studios where Frank Sinatra recorded, and getting to sing into his microphone. Surrounded by those musicians, I felt connected to musical history that inspired me. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Absolutely. At the top of my bucket list is recording a full big band album of my own original music. I want to take everything I love about that timeless sound and create something entirely new with it.
