In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I have always been a composer and songwriter, my earliest memories of music are hearing the rhythms in nature and walking at a proper pace to form a dance track in my head on my way to school. Tell us why you chose this song. “Something Sentimental” Something Sentimental is a highly emotional song, written from the perspective of someone longing for a deeper connection and involved in a quirky, perhaps challenging relationship. I was inspired by the classic film 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There are so many great moments. I've been blessed to have played with and met some of the greatest musicians in American music. I think perhaps the most memorable currently is the work that Iwan (Bedford) and I are doing in The Echo Bureau. Amazing. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? We are writing a lot of music for film and television these days, our hope is to have our music connected to memorable video - a way of 'eternalizing' the song and setting it in people's minds and history in general. Definitely on our bucket list.
