In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember my father listening to Milton Nascimento, Tom Jobim and Luiz Gonzaga's records in our living room. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Chris Potter, Underground Orchestra, Imaginary Cities Shai Maestro, Shai Maestro Trio Tigran Hamasyan, Mockroot At that time when iTunes was ruling the world, these were my first purchases and I remember listening to them so many times. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Desert Run” This is the first song that made me really proud of myself, because of its complexity. I was really happy when I could record that and more happy with the final result. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Definitely when I lived in NYC, playing in stages such as Birdland, The Iridium, Blue Note and Mezzrow. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Sure, so many things. The main one: Stay true to my music and my beliefs.
