About SXNTYLR

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I remember being 10 years old watching a PBS special where Louis Armstrong was singing and playing trumpet. I was in awe and immediately inspired. I knew in that moment that I wanted to do that. I will never forget that experience. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Bob Marley & The Wailers, Legend: The Best of Bob Marley and the Wailers (Deluxe Edition) Deluxe Edition Michael Jackson, Off the Wall Miles Davis, Kind of Blue These three albums are my all-time favorite albums because they encapsulate what I love and want to bring to the forefront as an artist/musician: Making people dance, live instrumentation, roots & culture, storytelling, passion, love, and timeless. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “Joe Grine” I love this song because it pays homage to Hip-Hop & Dancehall during one of my favorite times growing up, the early 2000's. Salute to the legends, Fat Joe & Mavado. Also, it's special because it was released during the 50th anniversary of Hip-Hop. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? There are many memorable moments in my career thus far, yet one that stands out to me was when I was sought out by Lil' Kim to provide the triumphant TRUMPET sound for her celebrity baby shower. The event aired to millions of viewers on WeTV. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Being able to perform all over the world at cities and countries' biggest venues is a dream come true ... but I would also love to perform for a sold out audience at Madison Square Garden, in the heart of New York City. That would be unforgettable.
