In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. My parents are both professional musicians so music was a big part of our lives. I would fall asleep listening to them practice their piano or accordion. I fell in love with beautiful sounds and rhythms that inspired me to follow my dream. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, 20th Century Masters / The Millennium Collection: The Best of Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong Frank Morgan, Frank Morgan Miles Davis Quintet, Workin' With The Miles Davis Quintet Remastered Ella Fitzgerald and Miles Davis completely inspired my playing. I listened to their albums for hours. Frank Morgan, really holds a place in my heart. He was one of my mentors and I learned so much from him. He really taught me about sound. Miss him! Na]” The Cat's Meow is my signature song. It is a fun loving, happy song about life. It was recorded for my first album "The Cat's Meow" and I just released a new version available in Dolby Atmos. Hope you enjoy it! : ) What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? One of the memorable moments is recording my father's song "By the Fireside." He was so happy to hear his music performed in a jazz quartet. Promoting my mother and father's music brings me joy. :) Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Yes, I would love to be an an Apple Music Jazz Playlist. That would bring me joy! : )
